The G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting

The G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting 2008 was held in Tokyo from June 11 to June 13, 2008. Japan hosted the meeting for the first time. Mr. Hatoyama, Minister of Justice, and Mr. Izumi, the Chairman of the National Public Safety Commission, chaired the sessions in which opinions were exchanged with the other G8 states on countering transnational organized crime and international terrorism.
