The G8 Finance Ministers Meeting

The G8 Finance Ministers Meeting was held in Osaka on June 13th and 14th, 2008. Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and the World Bank held a joint press conference at which they called on other countries to support the Climate Investment Funds that will help developing countries to address the challenge of climate change. At the meeting, intensive discussions were carried out on major topics such as 'World Economy', 'Climate Change' and 'Development and Africa'.
