The Kyoto State Guest House

The Kyoto State Guest House inside Kyoto Gyoen National Garden was proposed to commemorate the 1,200th anniversary of Kyoto becoming the capital of Japan and it was constructed over a period of three years. The facility is a space where garden and house harmonize to provide a sense of unity, based on the concept of "a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture". Now, we would like to introduce the Kyoto State Guest House, created by making the best use of the expertise of many Kyoto masters of traditional skills.
