This movie introduces the 5 years-progress of recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 through the eyes of children. Essays written by children in Tohoku area reveal the current situation and their future vision of life in their hometown. Reconstruction has been steadily progressing thanks to the efforts of the residents as well as cooperation of various actors including national and municipal government, private sector, and non-profit organizations. The efforts for assistance for the affected people, housing reconstruction, industrial recovery, revival of Fukushima, and initiatives to create New Tohoku, are introduced through the perspective of children.
