Information about the Public Opening of the Kyoto State Guest House

Located in the heart of Kyoto, inside Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, the Kyoto State Guest House embodies the essence of Japan's traditional skills. It was opened in 2005 to provide a warm welcome to official overseas guests and help them understand more about Japan, thereby deepening friendly relations. To give wider publicity to the charms of the Guest House, both at home and abroad, its gates have been opened for public tours since July 2016, whenever there is no conflict with official events.We would like to introduce the content of the public tours of the Kyoto State Guest House.
